The Moon
Keywords: Deception, fear, insecurity, darkness, reflection, dreams, confusion
Yes/No: No
Upright: The darkness brings all types of fears up to the surface. These fears could be symbolized by the crayfish, which represents what lies below the surface. So maybe these are childhood or even past life traumas that you buried deep and need to do some shadow work to help resolve. Or maybe these are fears of the unknown as shown by the blue land past the pillars of known and unknown. The only way to face those fears is by sticking to the path and going at your own pace. In this card the moon is mixed with the sun, offering lots of light. In tarot, when the light comes from the sun it is Divine connecting with us, when it comes from the moon, it is us connecting with Divine. Both are at play here, which should give you comfort that you are not alone. Don’t let fear keep you from living your best life. And remember, only in darkness can you see the stars.
Reversed: You are finally not so scared of what the darkness may bring, because you know that a higher power is protecting you. When the moon card is reversed it suggests that you pay close attention to your dreams because messages may be coming through to you that you have missed throughout the day, or maybe even answers to your daytime dilemmas.
