Yes/No: Yes

Upright: The sun is one of the best, happiest cards in the deck and a great omen if you are searching for a positive sign. This card reminds me of that happiness you start to feel on the first warm day following a long winter. When the weather spikes and everyone gets out of the house and goes for a walk, or to the park, and how you feel when you drive with your windows down. It is such an uplifting feeling! That is the kind of energy that is eluding from the little naked boy on his white, pure horse. He has no cares, nothing to hide, he is just as happy as can be. Even the sunflowers grow towards him instead of the sun because he gives off more energy. The red feather in his hat connects him to the Fool and the Death cards. The Fool represents emergence, Death represents rebirth, and the Sun represents enlightenment.

Reversed: The sun is such a great card that even in reverse it is still positive. Not quite as positive as upright, but it is letting you know that you need to focus more on your happiness. That you spend too much time being stressed and you need to take a break for mental clarity. When was the last time that you played like a kid? Ran around the yard, went to the park, played ball, or did anything that just brought you pure joy with no thinking needed?
